Open Positions
Licensed Plumber 306A
- Works in various installations, repair, maintenance, and service capacities individually, and as part of a team
- Diagnosis of malfunctioning equipment to determine the cause and appropriate corrective action
- Communicate the issue to the client, offer multiple solutions, and prices, and perform the repair of the issue diagnosed
- Completes required documentation (i.e. electronic timesheets, invoices, quotations, plumbing check-ups, etc.) for services performed
- Performs cleaning and maintenance of equipment, tools, materials, and vehicles utilized; ensures adherence to principles and practices of safe equipment use and operation
- Willingly performs other duties as assigned
- Great mechanical aptitude, diagnostic instincts & communication skills
- Proficient organizational skills and pride in always working cleanly
- Must be able to climb ladders and work in restricted spaces
- Adept trade skills
- Ability to complete paperwork legibly and quickly
- Have a customer service mentality
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- Minimum 3 years in the trade
- Plumbing: 1 year (preferred)
- 306A Ontario Plumbing License
- Valid WHMIS certification (asset)
- Valid Working at Heights Certification (asset)
- Elevated Work Platform (asset)
- Certified backflow tester (asset)
HVAC Technician
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements.
- Respond to emergency service requests
- Read blueprints and install or repair HVACR systems
- Install electrical wiring and controls and test for proper operation
- Inspect and maintain customers' HVACR systems
- Troubleshoot components to determine necessary repairs
- Repair or replace worn or defective parts
- Determine HVACR system's energy use and make recommendations to improve efficiency
- Work in a team environment
- Previous experience working with fan coils, ERV, heat pumps, and fans
- Previous high-rise experience
- Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract
- G2 and refrigeration license an asset
- Must be dedicated to learning and keeping up with growing advances in the industry
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Must be bondable
- 313A and G2 GAS or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work on-call/overtime/weekends if required
- Professional appearance required
- Must project customer appreciation and have a positive attitude
- Willing to learn and progress in their career
- Driver's license (required)
- Gas (G1, 2, or 3) (required)
- Air conditioning & refrigeration license (required)
Sheet Metal Worker
- Measure and order material as required
- Perform ductwork installations, repair, maintenance, and service individually, and as part of a team
- Willingly performs other duties as assigned
- Completes required documentation (i.e. electronic timesheets, job reports, etc.) for services performed
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of equipment, tools, materials, and vehicles utilized; ensure adherence to principles and practices of safe equipment use and operation
- Install duct systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
- Instruct apprentices
- Fit and join sheet metal parts
- Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification
- Cut materials using power tools or by hand
- Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
- 308A certificate of qualification (preferred)
- Driver’s license (preferred)
- Social insurance card (required)
- Elevated platform and working at heights
- Blueprint reading
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Solid knowledge of light gauge fabrication techniques and equipment
